Chris,
Funny that we've both been around about the same amount of time and haven't really heard one and other. This is why I love the internet, finding cool bands from other countries.
You can stream or download about 12 songs from this site http://www.vancitybands.com/bands/358/
It samples songs from almost all the CD's we've put out.
Later this year, I'll definitely know more about the European tour. We may be working with same promoter that is doing the Black Halos tour, but nothing is definite at this point.
What CD of yours do you recommend for an introduction to the Trashcan Darlings?
Cheers,
Sandy

Will go check it out now!:-) Thanks for the link!
The Black Halos are playing Elm Street (My favourite Oslo club) on Sunday, I think. I'm in the studio then, but hope to get out early enough to catch the show. Really liked their last CD.
Is it Manny who's booking them? If so he's got a really good reputation over here, so you'll do good with him.
As for the Trashcan Darlings.... hmmmm... I preffer our latest CD. It's just a 4 track though, but it definitly has the best sound of anything we've put out this far. It's called "Tunes From The Trashcan."
We just have 1 full lenght album and that's "Episode 1: The Lipstick Menace" which is also good, but the sounds isn't as good as we would like it to be.
The rest of our stuff (Ep's and singles) are long since sold out, but will be released as a compilation with a few new tracks at the end of the year or early next year..... After the next album.
Yeah, so there's really just 2 to choose from at the moment + the DVD.
I will go check out your band now:-)

You've got a great band there Sandy!
I listened to, and loved, all the songs!!!
I can't believe I haven't heard of you guys sooner!
I guess Teenage Valentino is the one that sticks most now as I heard that more than once, but I'll keep this link and go back there every once in a while. Sent it to some other people to now.
Ok, then right back at you: What is your best record and why?:-)

Thanks for the kind words Chris.
My favorite CD...hmm....probably S.T.U.P.I.D as it is an onslaught of really good fast tunes.
Back to the crack is probably my favorite disc as we went a bit of a different direction. We sort of infused our rock roots into that one.
The more I hear our new CD "Bat out of shell" the more I think its our best work. We set out to create the best power pop punk record possible. It will be interesting to see what people think when it comes out later this year.
Thanks for the info on your stuff. Where's the best or easiest place to get your CD's in North America?
Cheers,
Sandy

We haven't worked with him yet, so I can't give you any inside, but I know he has a really good reputation with both bands and clubs so you should be in good hands.
I saw the Black Halos gig at Elm Street (Oslo, Norway) last night and it was fantastic! Make sure he also books you there, so I can come see you too:-)))
Thanks for the info on your albums, man! I'll definitly go out and get a few of them. It sounds great!!!
For our records you can try:
http://www.backstageworldwide.com
I know they have the DVD and they might have a few Episode 1: The Lipstick Menace or Tunes From The Trashcan left too. If not try to google Episode... That's been released by a Japanese company who also has distribution in the USA, just not sure where...
